Steering Dampner?

I have a vibration still in my taco. My dad said to check the "shimmy shock" or "steering dampner" Does a 98 tacoma even have one? and could that be the problem?

no they do not have one. They use a Rack and Pinion steering setup, with no dampner.

At what point do you feel the vibration. At about 60-65 mph?

Have your tires been balanced lately?

It used to vibrate at 50-60 but I just got back from the shop and it was because my rear driveline U-joint was bad. So its not a problem now. But thanks for the help!!!
