Any suggestions on SS brake lines for my '95 4Runner? So many companies to choose from. I'm sure there are little to no differences between them. Thanks in advance.

i would go for the best price or closet one, there might even be a dealer in your area so u dont have to pay shipping and can look at it before you buy and ask the sales person any questions you have.

In the last 30 days I have installed the Downey front and rear sets mostly due to the fact that I got the rear one with the 1.5 HD springs. I went ahead and ordered their front pair just 'cus - seemed like a good upgrade.

Lots of PB blaster and proper flare nut wrenches are needed (at least for me) but everything went on the first time the right way and nothing stripped or rounded. Overall brake pedal seems firmer and gives me more confidence in the braking.

I like my Donwey SS brake lines and have no regrets about the money spent or the effort involved with installing them. If I didn't have the rear one already I would have looked at the pro-comp ones linked above myself but they are significantly longer and I didn't need the extra length...the Downey's were cut just right for a 1-2" lift - if you are higher up than that then the Pro-Comps are a better choice.

Either way - I went to Home Depot and bought some clear spiral wire wrap combo pack and used the smallest wrap on the SS lines and then the larger wrap on top of that to help keep abrasion from fraying the lines.

Just cheap insurance in my book!
