well yesterday my runner developed a horrible sputter when there is strain on the engine. so taking off from a start or accelerating. the enging sputters and there is no power then it will surge. it does this all the way up to about 4000 rpms. i thought it was a fuel filter so i replace that.

that had no effect, so im left to believe that its the tps. i need to know if something else could be causing this.

and if it is the cause i was gonna go to pick a part and get a whole new throttle body because mine needed an extra spring ghetto rigged to make the idle go down. will a throttle body off any 3.4 fit

Ohhhh has it? I used the search feature and couldn't find anything that seemed quite like this. If it has been covered so much can you please point me in the right direction besides "newbie tech" I have don't lots of work and mods to my truck and I'm seriously stumped here

5. Mods or previous problems

Spend some time of the search function and you will find what you need and learn its ins--and--outs. I would also start with learning the basics about cars--And that is why i said this should be in the newbie section.....

but here is a start

Car/Motor needs 4 Things to run

1. Air
2. Fuel
3. Spark
4. Compression

 

fixed it. spark plugs were all. haha i was all paniced.
