Yes, i can confirm that. It was a nice explanation, i should have remembered that site. A more aggressive trie can have larger tread and thus a slightly larger overall size which can mean an extra little bit on the speedo.

if you went from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16 for every 100 miles on the odometer you actually have travelled 102-104 miles so your speedometer is off by maybe 1-2 mph not enough to even consider a recalibration save your money
so if you are traveling at 70 speedometer wise your are actually traveling at 71 or 72 I did the same tire size change and they had a radar display on my way to work I went by it for months before and after the change and it was so close on every pass I finally quit worrying about it
