Spark Plug Install

Get a 3ft 3/8 in extentions with a flex adapter. OK maybe 3ft is a bit much. They are a pain in the arse to change.
If you can find a 3yr old with good dexterity his/her hand might be small enough to get the wire set back on.
The plugs are one of toyota's little jokes along with the location of the fuel filter, and many others. I'm convinced there are micro cameras recording all activity at these location which is uplinked to satelites and recorded in Japan were a huge reality/sitcom/candid camera tv series is being created called "Silly Greasy Monkeys". Millions of diminutive Japanses women will cover there mouths and laugh for hours at our folly and miliions of Japanese men will extend their arms, stare at their hands, and smile.

These have 4 conductors (whatever they're called) on them and come pre-gapped. Changing the plugs was in a word "unpleasant". I have big hands and think I left about a pound of flesh in the engine bay. The hardest thing I encountered was getting the plug wires off without damaging them. A couple of the plugs were really tough to get started too.
Of course I wanted to believe that this added HP - maybe it did a little. Seems to run a little smoother.
...then I added a TRD sticker and felt a 10 hp boost...

This is a problem on V6 engines only, on a 22R or 22RE its easier than changing a flat tire with the spare. All 4 of the plugs are there staring at you when you open the hood.
On the V6s I bet air tools would rock. You just can't get a normal socket driver in there very easily.
