hey like i mentioned before when i changed plugs at 80k miles they were the original ones. obviously they looked like hell but my question is what colore are they supposed to be after use? mine were white at the tips and dark black further up towards the threads.

Hopefully you won't go that long again after you've seen what they look like with just 30K on them.

 

welll i bought it used at 53k miles and just never replaced them till close to 80k miles.. my dad watched me do it and i handed them the old ones as i was taking them out and the 1st question he asked is why there were two different brands and then he showed them to me ( they were the original plugs) and i told him and the next thing he said was "damn they look rough" haha... the center electrode was really worn down.
