spare tire scuff guards

On my 1998 4runner ltd, when I dropped the spare I could see two rectangular foam rubber scuff guards glued to the frame to keep the spare from moving around. They were all worn down which explains why the spare moves around even when the carrier is cranked tight. I'd like to replace them, but this does not seem to be a part sold anywhere. Ideas?

First I heard of this.

Find some foam cut the size you need

Epoxy in place .

You might have to figure out a way to hold the foam in place to the epoxy cures

get some tubing or something from your local hardware store, slide it over and secure with zip tie. if it gets worn, rotate it. $5-6

Walmart had some long tubular foam pipes in the toy section, and I zip tied one across where the original scuff guards were mounted.
