What happened to the brake line? What was fixed/replaced?

Well the ABS sensors went off, the brake line is fine, just the sensors are off. Some new Revos' or BFG's would look good.

update:

the stealer will be covering the abs line replacement so I'm happy camper. So that brings my total cost for the lift to $150 (includes Lift, and Alignment)

How'd you talk the stealer into covering it? Which one?

GOOD NEWS!!! Gotta love the stealers when they do a good deed. They probably didn't even notice the lift huh?

Hey Lance,
You should try running Miller Jeep Trail. I'll let you know next time I go up there.
Are you going to the Jambo?

My club is runnning Calico this weekend. I'm camping starting Friday night. After that there's the 4runner Jamboree.

Lucky you still got your stock tires and rims on. That will throw them off for sure

Hopefully, when I get my lift installed, I wouldn't run into the ABS problem.

But I know what to do if it happens

hey Biff, that's awesome! when i go to get my outer tie rod end boot replaced, maybe they won't notice the lift there either ... and i might have an even easier time preventing them from noticing it because not only do i have stock tires and rims, but i am also a girl and who would think that a girl would have installed a lift kit on her truck!?

One other thing Lance, pointed out to me. If you have under 12,000 miles you could get away with getting a free alingment. Unfortunely I have 14000 miles so I had to pay for my alingment.

Aparently Toyota offers a free alingment for the first 12,000 miles. You just have to tell the dealer that you don't know how your alignment went off.

Read the manual and it's in the fine print section

Talk about reading every letter in the book... I think I'm gonna go blind!

I confirmed it with the dealer I was at. Was told that Toyota does offer a free alignment within the first 12000 miles. Like I said just have to tell them you don't know how the alignment wen't out of wack.

If you want to be sneaky (bad idea), I mean really want to be sneaky. Just take it in for the alignment. They might miss the boot completely and then you just take it back a few days later and say the boot is broken and you dont know what happened Play ignorant as to how this happened and you will probably get away with it.

Probably a better idea is just to have it fixed and pay for it, at least your conscience will feel better (not your wallet). I know dealers are sneaky, so you can decide if you want to be sneaky back
