SoCal Crew: Good camping site???

My friends and I want to plan a camping trip during Spring Break, but do not really know any camping sites. We're been to Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County the last 2 years and it was fun there, but we're looking for somewhere new. We're basicly looking for somewhere no more than 2-3 hours from SoCal, has a lake for renting a boat and fishing, bike/hiking paths, and showers. =) Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks alot.

A few of my friends went somewhere last year, I'll check with them tonight and see what it's called. It might have been lake skinner or something, that name is in my head for some reason, but I'll let you know for sure later tonight.

Hi Bob. You work in El Monte correct? I'm originally from El Monte and still am there very often because of my parents and friends. During the week however, I goto school and work in Irvine. I think the farthest that we are willing to drive is about 130 miles since we will be leaving on a Friday night after work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I didn't have a chance to talk with my friend yesterday, but we work together tonight, so I'll have the name of the lake tonight. I know that he rented a jet ski and a boat.
