Okay.. I've got a 91 Pickup 4x4 V6. And I'm wondering what diff I have in the back. I'm guessing it isn't the original. There is a marking on the back that says "N2". It had a Toyota 4.88 ring and pinion. And what I'm guessing is a ABS sensor on the top of the 3rd member. It's a cut off wiring harness, and the inside looks like a little magnet aimed right at the top of the ring gear. I know the 91's didn't have ABS. At least this one didn't, it ISN'T SR5. So what is the likely donor? I was thinking a newer T100? Just curious.

 

I was looking in the bone yard last summer and found a 4.88 with a sensor on a 4Runner (95-96?). I think it drops right into the 8" housing.
