Another thing to think about is...

the smaller the tire, the more harsh its going to ride and the easier it is to pop those puppies. Don't know how good the streets down there, but they suck here. Though nothing compares to savannah. I'm so glad I have baloons under my rig!

As for the chrome thing, all chrome wheels are alloys I believe... they just chrome the alloy and thats why they usually sell them both ways chrome or polished.

Another thing about size... its all relitive. You have a small truck that is already low to the ground. If you put 19s on your truck, it would look more like 22s on say a chevy. In all practicality I wouldn't go over 16s or 17s if your runnign 14s right now. Also you have to look at prices of tires. Get a popular size! My darn volvo had 45 profile and a 16" wheel. (this was a couple years ago) but I only had 3 choices in tires for that size! One of which were $275 a piece!

nope, my chrome wheels were steelies.

i'd stick with 15" wheels, they tend to be cheaper to find tires for...

 

Chrome can be found on steel or aluminum rims. Aluminum should be lighter in general. You can also get polished aluminum.

 

I'll probably stick with chrome, it'll go well with the other chrome accents. The roads here in Fayetteville aren't to bad. A few pot holes here and there but nothing I have worry about with smaller tires.
