Question Skid Plates

1988 4Runner can you tell me if any skidplate is needed?

Factory skidplate sufficient enough?
Do they need to have a skidplate for Oil/Tranni Pan?

Thanks.

The front is 3/16, the bellypan is slightly thinner.

Yep, the IFS skid by BudBuilt is sort of new and he doesn't have all the info on his site yet. Email Bud (there should be a link to his address somewhere on his site) and ask him about it. He's a super nice guy who makes great products. I have his dual transfer case crossmember/skid and it's awesome.
