Sick of DRL
Anyone know where the DRL resistor is? I have a feeling its built into the headlight relay and I am just going to cut it out.

You know this is only going to effect yours not the people your driving past right?...
Disconnect the parking brake switch, should do what your are after if that works for you disconnect pbk signal at the DRL relay/brain. Think it's pin 11 there, but when it doubt probe it between the park brake switch and the DRL box..

The DRL relay is in the front of the engine bay, its been awhile but pretty sure it is tucked behind the battery on the driver side fender, it has a protective "cage" around it and is rectangular, simply unplug it. Or try the above.

Nope nothing in the engine bay...know exactly what it should look like as my 96 had one. After a lot of clicking of relays I zeroed in another relay behind and to the right of the glove box with some wires (4 or 5) going into a small box about 1" x 2" x 3". Accessibility is near zero without removing half the dash...definitely a summer job!

I hated the DRL feature and disabled it by snipping one wire nearly 16 years ago (when I first purchased the truck). Do a search on here as I'm sure there's a thread somewhere detailing it.
