From our site:
"- Width. The std 68" version of the bumper is designed to work with no fender flares or the smaller SR5 style flares. A wider version is available for the wider flares used on the Limited models and some sport models. The "Limited" version of the bumper is 72" wide, 2" wider on each side than the standard version and 4" wider overall. "

Like Nick said above, the wide Sport and LTD fender flares are the same size.

is it just me or does the smaller of the holes, i guess the one for the blinkers not have any sides on the inside like the larger hole, but in the pic from the website it lookes like a tube/not just a hole in the bumper... dont know if it matters or not, im just wondering...

its because the turn signals fit flush with the face of the bumper, aimed outwards, unlike the fog lights that must be aimed straight with the vehicle

This is definitely the best bumper available for the 3rd gens that I've seen! Hope the install goes well and I'm anxious to see how it looks!

If only you busters understood the growing patience and wishful dreams that i've "suffered" during the past year.
You must realize how I was the ONLY one who asked for it 15 long months ago in Sept '06... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f37/...-bumper-92803/

So ya can thank me for helping make it available. At least i'd like to think so.

If it wasn't for TJM having their bumpers on backorder (thank God) i wouldn't have purchased this Shrockworks bumper. Perhaps it was meant to be.

Not to sound over zealous, but like somebody else said, this bumper is truly in a "league of it's own".

Just imagine how this played out personally...i asked for it more than a year ago and apparently i'm the first one to have it shipped and sitting here in front of my eyes. Considering the circumstances, thats a pretty satisfying experience.

Allow me to rephrase my initial description...
You could throw it off a 50 story building and it wouldn't suffer a scratch.
If Chuck Norris gave it a roundhouse kick, he would break his foot.
It's looks better than the 4th gen bumper.
You can bash it into a boulder, another car, or a Mac truck and still come out with a win.
For a production made bumper, it's by far the best looking and functional one out there.

I went by the shop Thursday and they were due back from the powder coater Friday. I expect a call Wednesday or Thursday to have it installed (fingers crossed).

I have been calling Shrockworks for three years bugging them to make a bumper for 3rd gens, and I'm glad you have been pestering them too. Truth be told though, I believe much credit and thanks goes to Nick @ Shrockworks for making this a reality.

Once you see this bumper in person you will understand why Rocket is so excited. It really is that perfect.

^^^^^You guys might want to post something about this up on your site, as some might look and just think: "damn, they don't make them for tacomas" and then move on,

just a thought, might get you guys a little more business from the taco group, as you know, guys love to throw money at tacos

make one that'll fit a '89-'95, and you might get even more business, maybe start another thread for people that are willing and ready to make down-payments for a '89-'95 one right now (I am not included in this group of people with said money, as I am a broke, married college student/veteran), just a thought as I am sure you guys have heard it before, and are plenty busy

nice bumper btw

Mine is on and it is FINE! Nick took a few photos, but they're not great. We plan on taking more when we have some good light, hopefully this week. I don't know if he wants to post a couple here or wait til we get better ones. The pictures may not be great, but no amount of bad light or bad photography could make this bumper look bad, so you might as well Nick

Many thanks to Nick, Jim, and Justin at Shrockworks. Great people and great products. If you're on the fence about which bumper to get, make it easy and get this one. It really is flawless.

Is this discount still good? Can't believe I missed this thread before. Looks like a great option.

I was about to go on about how much i agree but thought i better check out their website (it's a "habit") and was surprised to see that Tacoma's finally have their own spot... http://www.shrockworks.com/Toyota-Ta...-pr-16223.html
It must of been added within the last couple days. Nonetheless it's looks sick. Gotta see it on a properly equipped rig though.

I'd be willing to put down some money on a pre-'95 bumper for a truck that i don't even own yet.

It's on my DD PreRunner....trying to resist the urge to SAS with some coilovers and 37's ....give me some time and I'll see what I can come up with.

Otherwise we are sending out Flyingwills bumper soon, that should make for some good pics.

you do that, and I'll start sending them $3 at a time, and maybe in a few years we'll both have nice bumpers

They must have been reading my mind about addind the taco part to the website, that stock taco does look kinda funny with it though, not that my stock '93 would look any better,
