Shrockworks bumper for 3rd gens & Tacomas

I didn't plan on installing it until it warms up anyways but I guess quality takes time and they seem to be having success selling more and more of these. 6 months seems like a long time though.

I emailed twice with no reply. After a phone call they said another 3-4 weeks until it ships and then 5 days in shipping.
Patience is a must!

It seems like they had alot of 4th gen's backing it up too (not to mention their other products). Now that they have their bigger fab shop they can do more product. Hopefully they will start moving quicker.

Order Update...
Placed my order on January 28 and they call on Monday saying it was ready to ship.
Wound up taking just under 13 weeks
So for those of you that have orders pending, be patient, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I'll post pics once it's installed.

I went ahead and got the full hoop version. I figured I wouldn't use the hoops that much but I mine as well go all the way if I was going with the Shrockworks. I could see myself regretting not getting the extra protection the first time I damaged the grill, headlights, or 520 ATP's I am mounting on top of the bumper.
Ill try to get some pics tomorrow after my exams are finally over. Yeah.

Not yet.
I did get the inside of it treated/painted with por-15 and will do the outside soon as weather permits. It's rained the last 7 weekends here and they're already forecasting next weekend to be the same. My bumper is actually low on a big list of mods to do this summer but my goal-plan is to get everything done soon.

Top quality, good fit, premium priced, long wait, and unapologetic.
I've ordered fabbed parts from Rocky Road Outfitters (rear bumper), Shrockworks (sliders), Addicted Offroad (front toy bumper) and Trail Tough (roll cage). Only TrailTough shipped when they originally quoted, everyone else put the order in the build schedule, and was delayed (in months). I'm looking forward to getting my bumper from Addicted Offroad. Not delivery date yet.
I believe this is just the reality of purchasing from a small custom fab shop. These items (in general) are not mass produced waiting on the shelf for us to order them like tires are.

Bringing this to the top. Really want to order one of these. Anyone have any recent experience with Shrockworks? I emailed them and they replied a 2-3 month lead time. Everything I seem to read here suggests it will be much much longer than that. Not very excited about making 100% payment for a product with an unknown arrival date.

I would say 12 weeks would be the minimum, more like 16 weeks. Just the nature of dealing with a small fab shop. Shrockworks build quality is impressive. I also had good dealings with their customer service and am 100% happy with the bumper. Just be patient.

Also... Keep in mind that earlier this year, they relocated to a new facility and lost an employee who really helped make this bumper possible.
I'd imagine lead times should be back to normal by now.

Shrockworks Bumper
It took 6 months for my bumper but it was over a year ago during their infamous facility move. They quoted me 10 weeks at the beginning. I'd say that if they are quoting 2 to 3 months now, that would be more accurate. I'd just be honest with them up front that you have delivery concerns from what you've read on the forums and try to get a really good guesstimate from them on the delivery.
As everyone else has said... it is a really good looking functional bumper. Here are some pictures of mine. Worth the wait though I was pretty pissed when they wouldn't email me back. Their phone seems to work better
