Damn it Jackson... everytime I see your rig I want to put the FF75's in my bumper. It does look so sweet.

Do it! Aside from the tires, I defitely get more use out of this mod than I do any other mod I've done. They look great, and the added light is soooo nice. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Here's some more persuasion for ya...

no i never put fogs in the TJM. i hardly used the Euro Beam and there were several cases where i wish i had a fog beam.

i plan on getting some driving lights though, just not the big 4000s. ill mount some on my rack or i have some other ideas.

ok I'll let you guys in on a little secret. Central 4wd hd a special on LF back in feb. I ordered them but I forgot to send in payment via credit card and by the time I realived it .. I figured it was too late. I called them up last week and asked if I could get the special price again .. he said sure no problem .. so I got the LF170 for $186 shipped. .. but their regular price is $219 shipped .. still a good deal

Definately a good deal on lightforce lights. I don't have $180 plus to throw at lights currently so if I can keep it under $100 I will.

How small is small? Several people are running Hella 500s on a stock bumper. I ran a pair of 500s and my 4000s on my stock bumper for a while.

Call up Mike at Xtreme off road and get him to hook you up with some Hella 500's for around $60 or so. Then later on when you upgrade you can move these to the roof or something

So I guess with the lightforce light you have to option to put on different lenses? I noticed yours have the fog yellow lens on it.

Yeup! They come with clear protective covers and you can also get them in Yellow, Red, Amber, Blue, Green and Black. They also make "wide angle" covers in Clear and Yellow which help spread the beam out more than you can get with the focus adjustment.

Central shows the covers here:

Normal:
http://www.central4wd.com/store/itemdetail.asp?ID=7561

Wide angle:

No one's talked about the power of the lamps... The LF 140's are rated at 250,000 candle power each; LF 170's are 500,000 each; 240's are 1,000,000 each; and the 240 HID's are 1,500,000 each.

More info here: http://www.lightforceusa.com/

"Highly recommended" - I think they're a very underrated value in lighting.
