Should My Tacoma Have an IAT Sensor?

Long story short, I bought a '97 Taco 4x4 w/Manual Trans and a 3RZ for pretty cheap. Might as well be a tweaker's truck. Engine may have been replaced, but I'm doubtful.

Anyway there is a code P0110 and P0100 but no engine light on. The FSM I have for a '97 shows the IAT sensor in the stock air cleaner box, but mine doesn't even have the spot for it. The only wiring that runs with the MAF Sensor is a plug that has a resistor in it. Is this supposed to be connected to the IAT Sensor? The '97 FSM also shows a distributor, where my engine has the twin coil pack and no dizzy. So I'm assuming it's the 2nd gen 3rz, but I don't know if it's the factory one or not.

Here are the pics of the connector with resistor installed and lack of spot for IAT... Any help would be appreciated, something seems fishy here.

The IAT is built into the MAF. Well, at least for the '01-'04 it is and probably is in the '97 also.

See page 5, 1(2):

BUMP/UPDATE

The "resistor" in the connector is actually some sort of capacitor. As per the FSM it's called a "noise filter" for the ignition system. I'm assuming my MAF has the IAT sensor built into it considering there are three probes coming from the MAF itself into the intake.

I found some wires in the MAF harness that are fubar so I'm assuming that's what is causing the codes.
