Should I take my brushguard off?

my vote would be to get rid of it. i think it looks much cleaner (and better) without the extra metal. to me, and this is only my opinion, all that chrome on the front makes it look like your 4runner has braces. and if you've ever had braces (old school ones that were on for 2-3 years) you know how refreshing it is to finally get them off; your 4runner will be smiling for years to come!
but, i guess i'm kind of a minimalist. i'm slowly taking things off my 4runner to give it a cleaner look. when i got my sport hood i didn't put the OEM bug guard back on, i thought it would look weird w/o it but i like it better. pretty soon, you'll see me driving down the road on a 4runner chassis with 1 driver's seat and the engine, nice and clean for the Uber minimalist!

I vote to leave it on. It completes the front end and th grille looks out of palce with it off. I would drop the hella's though...they do look weird and kinda stuck on anywhere you could find.

If you want your runner to look clean,
-take off the brushguad/lights
-the bug deflector and window deflectors
-the chrome tail light things
-the aluminum brush guard.
-the roof racks
-and your grill looks like it's sticking out, if you could get it to sit flush on the sides with the lights, it would look killer.
You do those mods, and you'll have the cleanest 'runner around.
But if you dont want to do that, just leave the brush guard to go with all your other bolt on crap (no offence really, i just think the "stick on" mods like tail light guards, deflectors, etc are just profit makers that are useless)

id say keep it on, i personally like it. if i was going to fix up a 4runner for the street, id prob do it the same way you did. btw, isnt yours 4x4? if so PLEASE tell me you have some steelies and at least A/Ts to put on that thing so you can have a LITTLE bit of offroad fun with it lol
