Should i buy this 4-runner?

I found a 1996 sr5 4-runner with the 3.4 and a 5 speed tranny. It has 166k on it. Is that alot of miles on this engine? They are asking 5900 dollars for it. Its in perfect shape. Is this a good deal?

I bought my 1997 4runner Limited with leather, automatic, ect. with 182k for $4500, you should be able to talk them down into a fair deal-166k is alot, but not for these engines as far as i know my dads has 226k and mine 198k and both run strong

So long as its been minimally cared for its fine. Bit high for that kinda mileage tho.

It is a little high but as long as it has been cared for the miles are not a problem in the slightest. I got my 2000 with 125K for 9600 which was a great deal for my area, i didn't want to ship one in from up north where rust is a problem.
