Shocks rubbing on bumpstops

Anybody with the 86-95 series trucks with a 4" lift experienced any problems with the lower bumpstops rubbing on the shocks? Mine are rubbing about the bottom 1/3 of the shock body, and at the very bottom the dents seem pretty significant. I think I can take off the bumpstops and just grind them down a little on the shock side, but right now I am not too happy about this. But, at least they are only $35 Skyjackers, and not $70 Bilsteins or Edelbrocks. I guess my other option would be to move the lower shock mounst back 1/4-1/2 inch...so I guess I would need to buy a welder!

Same thing happen to me. I just took off the wheel and the shock and then used a grinder to fix the problem. I ended up getting new shocks because it dented one up very bad.
