I've been looking all over the net for several days now and have yet to find a definitive answer to these questions so I'm hoping someone here has the answers.
All these questions pertain to the 2003 4Runner Limted v8:

1. What is the alarm system in the 2003? make? model?
2. How can I disable the beep (piezo) without cutting any wires?
3. What interesting (undocumented) things can I do with the NAV system?
4. What is the latest version of the NAV system? Updates available? when?
5. Can the DRL (daytime running lights) be disabled? without cutting wires?

Basically, I want to know everything I can do to customise new truck, changing features like alarms etc. I considered buying the manuals but want to make sure they cover everything including the NAV system first.

I'm sure I have many more questions but I think those are good to start.
