just use the full can...
also there are like 2 or 3 huge seafoam threads that contain a wealth of information...

I used it in my girlfriend's 91 Camry and it really helped out alot. I started using it on her car when it had around 145K miles on it and continued to use it until we sold it at 208K. I swear by it just like I do with the Lucas products.

if you are going to do crank, pcv, and gas tank then i would say do a full can in the gas tank, a half can in pcv/brake booster, and half can in the crank...

x2. You get better results by doing them all instead of just the tank, especially if this is the first time using it. Adding to the tank only is like a "maintenance in between intense cleanings" kind of thing.

I am starting to think it dose not do to much as a cleaning agent I have been running a half can in the oil for a few weeks now and I had checked my throttle intake 2 weeks ago and over the last few months I have run at least 4 cans through the brake booster line and one on the pcv and there was no difference
in cleanliness on the whole intake.
I know this because I took off the TB a few months ago to replace the valve covers.
I found that if you really want to clean out your TB use STP throttle body and intake cleaner.
as a test I poured some sea foam on the inside of the valve cover and then rubbed it into the build up and let it set for a hour then rubbed it again and nothing came off.
now I have heard that it will help with idle and other things but I am not starting to think this is nothing more than some kind of oil that might have snakes in it.
I do have to say it is fun to run it through for the smoke it produces
in cleanliness on the whole intake.

I have used it for years at at he recommended 1oz/1gal ratio. I usually use two 12 oz bottles per treatment.I get this ratio in my runner by running the 18 gal tank down to 1/4, add one bottle and fill the tank. Run it back to 1/4 and add the second bottle and fill the tank.
The last treatment I used three bottles because it had been a while since the last treatment. I usually do the 2 bottle treatment at ~6 month intervals.
I also use full synthetic oil changed at 4-5k mi.
My first Toyota was an '86 pickup. We sold it at 230k mi. Tranny was replaced under warrantee. Want to hear the story? OK!
We were driveing on I95 one afternoon and I looked in the mirror and it looked like a fog machine behind us. I stopped at a station and added fluid and drove it home, crawled under and loosened the bolt and nothing came out. I tightened the bolt and had it towed to the dealer. Oh yes, the complete undercarriage was soaked in trans fluid.
They filled the trans and said that the pan bolt was loose and the fluid drained out, and the trans was fine, and charged me for the tow and service.
A couple of days later it happened again so I drove it straight to the dealer, not stopping to check the fluid, and told them that even though they had tightened the pan bolt and said that there was nothing wrong with the trans, there still seemed to be a problem.
They called the next day and told me the inside of the trans was blue and that they were replacing it and had been told to send the trans to Japan.
The second was a '95 4Runner. Sold at 60K mi.
This is our third.

2. My wifes '97 Escort. - 1 can through the PCV, 1 can in the tank. That car still sucks.

Last night i dumped half a can down a throttle body on my friend 4.0 jeep and not it runs 100x better. doesnt hesitate when you nail the throttle and just runs way better overall. There was a ton of smoke for about 5 minutes. good thing we did it at night.

Well, this is what I got when I did a search on Techtron and there is much more on other sites. You may also want to keep in mind that Chevron gas adds Techtron to it's normal gas. That's why so many people wont run any other gas in there vehicles. As I said before it's not as cheap as Seafoam but you get what you pay for.
