Anyone do this to their seats? My dogs were filthy in the back seat so I am now thinking about it. Dose it make your seats feel different afterwards?

Never thought of doing this to truck seat before...

I've used a lot of it on jackets and sleeping bags before and it really didn't change the feel of them, but it was on a nylon fabric. I don't know how it would work on auto upolstery. You might think about just getting a treated/weather proof cover for the backseat. Cabela's has these that are pretty reasonable. Just a thought...

I did it to my '90 truck with cloth seats when I first bought it brand new.
It helped to keep them clean.

I also did it to my 4Runner after steam cleaning it the following weekend I bought.
It had that "big dog" smell, and the steam cleaning, Tuff Stuff spray, then Scotch Guard got rid of the smell and the seats turned out real nice.

Yeah, I've heard of stealerships offering this as an option when you buy a vehicle. I was also thinking of using GoreTex.

Funny you should mention this. I have a can of scothgaurd sitting in my truck waiting to get used! I am gonna steam clean the inside of my rig first, then spray her down. I figure it's the next best thing to getting wet Okoles!

I actually thought about this, when I was strolling through the auto section of good ole Wal Mart(geting a bike flag so I could wheel) and saw it. I've had mud inside on the seats, and it was anoying to try to scrape if off
