Hello, this is my first post. I will get around to filling out my profile soon but for now I have a 97 4runner limited. I love it, 3.4L V6. Now for my question. I have done some searching and my temp gauge does not work. it looks like I need to get a water temp. sender which is a little brass looking plug with a wire connector on one end. but, like most, I can not find that thing. I have narrowed it down to the back of the engine so does anyone have a picture or a diagram or just something that can help me locate it? Thanks in advance.

Its right here if you can make it out its a real small plug I believe the wire is Yellow with a green stripe


Its on the lower intake manifold

 

so would it be easier to get at it from the top of the engine or the bottom of the engine? and thanks for the picture.
