It will never work. There's a million people out there who are spending billions on toyotas with IFS, that have no intention of ever going off road or otherwise beating their trucks. They should get real and buy a mini van. They're the reason we have wimpy suspensions and drivetrains under behemoth bodies. The proverbial Collossus of Rhodes lives again...

I'm on that list somewhere... 800's I think.

Anyway, Toyota sold over 160,000 Tacomas last year, and god knows how many 4-Runners. There are less than 2,000 signatures on that petition. MAybe if someone funded a TV commercial to publicize the petition ....

You are more likely to get a new vehicle from Santa with that stuff than you are from Toyota USA.

Its finally up to 2037 but its taken almost 4 years to get there. Of those that signed maybe half could actually afford to buy such a thing brand new from the factory. Do you think they will listen if they will only sell 500 per year? Not very likely.

I'm 2038.
