Looking at some of these pics of Los Coyotes gives me chills.

http://www.tankota.com/cc4pics.htm

We need to find out if this is what to expect from all the trails.

Wow! Those pics look way more intimidating than the ones Scott posted.
I don't like the looks of that tacoma nearly touching the wall.
The other ones were of a similar section, but with a bridgeable rut, not one that sends you into the rock wall.
Plus don't most pictures make the terrain look easier than it really is? (scary)

Maybe we can send the Heeps in first and then assess our chances.

I have done my research here. There are tons of trails there. The pics I showed you guys is the hardest spots--we dont need to go there.

Rob is Brandon coming with his Tacoma?

I wish you were coming Lance.

Where and what time do you guys want to meet?

Looks to me like the best way to get there is going up the 67 to the 79.
From the 8 frwy it is almost 60 miles.

We could meet in Lakeside. There is a Burger King right off to the right side of the frwy near the Lakeside Rodeo--yeehaw!

Need input.

Marc: I'm not sure if Brandon or Kyle are going yet.

But, BK in Lakeside sound good for an early start. My brother is going with me and has to be back by 3 or earlier, so the earlier start the better. Especially if we leave for a different trail after checking los coyotes.
Mikey Perrys is a good greasy spoon, but would probably take too long (Sun morn crowd)

What time are we gonna meet? 8am?
Oh yeah, Scott you're gonna make it?

I would say 8am is fine--I think perrys will take too long. We will have to survive on whoppers. I dont know whats farther up the 67 past Lakeside.

So we need a headcount--

Marc
Rob
Scott (hopefully)
Steve
wifesaysimadumbass--name?

Anyone else??

I think Brandon might be able to make it too.

What about the guy from Temecula with the 2nd gen? He was posting on 4x4wire

So the plan is to meet at the Burger King in Lakeside-just to the right of the 67 across from the Lakeside Rodeo at 8am on Sunday.
We will probably wait until 8:30 for stragglers.

Be sure to bring food and plenty of water. If you have FRS radios bring them. I have 1 extra for somebody--channel 4 like usual.

People who are going so far-

Marc
Rob
Scott
Mikey
Brandon

anyone else from SD or La care to have some fun with us??

No way Scott!!
There was a group of about 17 Jeeps there before us and only 4 made it. It is really steep and the rocks are all craggly and rutted.
Maybe I'd try it in your newly lifted ride...
