Same part? Transfer switch vs. backup indicator 4wd

I am trying to fix my blinky-light-not-switching-out-of-4wd problem on my 2001 4Runner. Part 84222-12010 comes up in searches for a transfer switch as also being the same number for a backup indicator. Here’s my question: is there any difference? The price is Very different. The backup indicator can be purchased for less than $10 and the transfer switch is over $60. They look exactly the same. Is it the same part with a cheaper price because it had a different name? Will this work in my transfer actuator?

They should be interchangeable. The only exception is one may have an alignment notch in the plug. If that is preventing you from plugging in just file it down.
