Ok here goes. I have been having several problems with my runner and was looking for some advice, this forum seems to be good at that.

1.In the A/C vents I keep find these little pieces of foam. I only find them every couple of weeks. Any ideas what this is? Is it something I need to get fixed?

2.My car is running rich, I sometimes can smell the gas in the exhaust fumes. What could be causing this?

well the air conditioning duct openings are always bordered with foam. So I'm guessing that's where your foam pieces are coming from.

As for the fumes, I don't think I could help you there, mabe you've got a hole in the exhaust pipe?
