Routine Maintenance
Had a day free so did a little maintenance.
I had the transmission flushed at the local shop.
Did a fine job and it did help the shifting. Also put
a can of B&G trany flush through it too.
Changed the oil, checked differentials, and transfer
case. I even cleaned the skid plates. They are nice
and clean now.
I did run into one problem. All but one bolt holding the
front skid plate is stripped. Will have to head to the
hardware store to replace them.
All in all was a nice afternoon in the garage.
Now I am ready for the road trip Friday.

I ran the b&g just before the flush to break loose any
stuff that might be sludged up. It worked perfectly.
It was just a little extra pre-caution. You may even
call it over kill, but that is the way I am.
My obsessive compulsive syndrome kicked in.
