alright so i had a guy offer to trade me his stock roof rack for the littkle strips on top of my 4runner. he said that those strips were hard to find and he really wanted some. is this true? also what kind of roof racks are out there for the 4runner? i need something for my kayak.

 

I wouldn't sell it if I were you. I'd keep it and if you need something more significant I'd go with a Yakima system.

Oh and those oem strips being hard to find?? They're not. I've got 2 sets in my garage I can't even give away. Tell him to contact me and I'll give him a set.

 

could i see some pics of a 1996-2002 4runner with the yakima or even thule rookf racks? thanks.

 

assuming your talking about the racks that attach to the factory ones i have pics of the coleman safari rack which has the same measurements as the yakima

 

Try out the Search feature...you should be able to find plenty of pictures.
