Researching Vehicle Altimeter, Compass, Temp, ect....

I know this isnt the section for this, but the Electronics section seems like it's mostly stereos and such....

But I've been looking for a good quality unit that will give me an altimeter, compass, inside \ outside temp, bar. pressure and such. I have found some made by Wayfinder (V7000, and V7500) but they seem to be discontinued by some sites and the one they recommend is the Wayfinder V2020 and to me it just looks cheesy (correct me if I'm wrong on that one). I want something more then the $15.00 unit you get at a NAPA store. What's out there? I'm not finding anything worth while.

Thanks in advance...

Here is a link to the Wayfinder V2020. After rereading it it might be kind of what I'm looking for... If the quality is there.

I also would like something to mount on \ in the dash.

Amazon sells that V2020.

http://www.amazon.com/Wayfinder-V202.../dp/B0002L4ZK8

but looking at the reviews I'm going to pass on it. Also, as I guessed, Wayfinder don't support these products anymore (I checked their site long time ago, and there was no mention of these). Amazon had listed quite a few others but none are ones I think I would be happy with.

Again, I would like a permanent mounted device with temp (indoor and outdoor), perfered wireless, compass, altmeter (not a must, but cool) and a bar meter. If I have to go to a handheld device I can, but I don't see how I can get inside and out temps with it (no I'm not sticking my arm out the window as I drive to find the outside temp!) LOL

There is a factory one from toyota that would fit the 99 for sure and could most likely be "made to fit" the 88. It was sold on yotas in the JDM and aussie markets I believe... supposedly it works quite well... they have only been available here as "wrecker recoveries" from our Japan based members... Id pm CDUFF_?_? first as he had at least one for sale on one of his ebay auctions a while back, also try cbrsport he's on deployment just now but is due back by Feb. or so. Either of them may be able to help you.
