Resale Value on 1997 TR4 SR5
I've created this thread in hopes to receive feedback on how much could I expect to be able to sell my 97 TR4 SR5 V6. Ive owned the truck since 2007 and since then Ive done some upgrades. The overall condition of the truck both mechanically and appearance is very good. That been said, would it be unrealistic to expect to sell my truck for a higher than blue book value? One important detail that will probably work against me is the current odometer (270,525). However the motor was replaced with a lower mile JDM imported engine from LAJDM.com two years ago. I'll be posting some pictures of the truck tomorrow but in the mean time, below is a list of the upgrades installed:
-Toytech 3" suspension lift / 1" body lift for a total of 4" lift.
-Bilstein 5100 series shocks (less than 6 month old set)
-Blackrock 942 Tyde D 15x8, 3.75BS
-33x12.5x33" General Grabber "Red lettering"Tires with more than 70% tread life on them
-4.88 Yukon rear-end with Lockright mechanical locker
-Pioneer Double-din stereo with 9 speaker Kicker setup, Pioneer Power amp for speakers and separate power amp for 10" Kicker sub
-PIAA 520 Offroad lights and upgraded factory headlights
-Maganaflow cat-back exhaust
-Interior lighting upgraded to LED lighting
I've researched similar trucks for sale in my area and Ive seen several 1996-1998 TR4 completely stock going between $5000-$9800, these were all dealer sales with milage ranging between 127,000 - 240,000 miles. I realize I will never get that kind of money for mine, I just want to get an idea of how much I could potentially sell mine for.
Thanks!!

These vehicles are so very regional .
Around here at this time it seems there is a glut of 4Runners really holding prices down
The group of buyers looking for a 4runner that is lifted with the Mods you have is not that large
That will make yours worth less to buyers outside that group.
It will only bring what someone is willing to pay.
