Replacing Stock Emblems on '99

Replacing Stock Emblems on '99
Any tips on how I should proceed on removing my rear stock emblems?..I just have not done this before so any suggestions are welcome.
I plan to replace them with "Hilux" emblems

Monofilament fishing line or dental floss will do. Dental floss will break on you more easily though.
Clean up the residue w/ a citrus-based cleaner. To really make sure, Dawn the area off to get the wax off and clay bar it to make sure you get off all the particle.
