Replacement for windshield wipers.

So, one of the new concept cars doesn't use windshield wipers. It has high powered air jets that blow the water right off the windshield. So what kind of pressure would be needed to create something like this? Any idea on what kind of jets should be used? This might be a really cool mod. I personally hate my wipers.

Uh huh... That should work great on bugs and blobs of mud from the tires.

Where did you see something like that?
Show me a link for some video if you got it?

Sounds like it is basically a pressure washer design, but man that would use alot of fluid quickly.

I agree, I don't think they will work very well!

It won't work at all, it would but no way as good as the wipers.

I think he's referring to the Acura TL concept shown at the last New York Auto Show. That concept had high-pressure air nozzles to keep the windshield clear (or so they said...).
