My driver's seat is beyond a patch kit, so I'm thinking of ordering some leather-like snug fitting seat covers. A seller on Ebay is mailing me two color samples this week. I'm sure the covers won't last as long as replacing and restitching the leather, but for $69, it would be worth buying several pair and saving the huge $$$$ of real leather.

Here's the Ebay auction #: 7959329607

Out of over 1500 customers, only a few have complained. A pic is included.

A new leather seats fromt he dealer would be A LOT!
They've got these leather repair shops out there especially for automotive use.
I also previously sold furniture. Leather IS repairable at a decent price. If i were you, i'd stop in at a leather repair shop first and see what they tell you.

I don't know about down in the US, but I just asked my dealer this question. I have a couple cracks and tears from the previous owner that I wanted to get rid of.

The bottom cover is ~$450 and the back cover is ~$550. (Canadian $$$) Front seats only.

I then called a Automotive Upholstery shop and they told me to go to the dealer as it would be cheaper.

Ummm, can I piggyback on this offer?

I have a tear on the side of the driver's seat, and some stitching issues as well.

Nah... with the fuel prices and no real paycheck I have to limit my playing. I'll be out for Rob's Trail 101 class on 4/23, and then there's a WATTORA ride at Mose's Lake in May.

Send me a pic of what you have going on with your seat so I can evaluate it.
Links to pics are on their way! Thanks!
