Removing 5vzfe

Hi guys

Would appriciate any info on getting this motor out

Any recommened way to remove the motor mounts the center nut or the two bolts on the sides ?

How about getting the two pcs trans dipstick seperated, I was going to heat it up with a propane torch maybe you know a better way ??

thanks

Undo the two bolts on the sides, so the mounts can seperate from the frame. Then you dont risk damaging the mount stud.

As for the dipstick tube, it bolts to the side of the trans, so no need to heat it up. Undo the bolt, and the upper half will pull right out. The bottom half is welded into the pan.

Thanks for the reply cougar, I did remove the bolt that holds the tube to the side of the engine but the two pieces seem seized together, maybe due to the heat from the exhaust manifold being so close
