Hey, I was wondering, does Toyota still support their recalls if you are not the first owner of the vehicle? I bought a 90 4runner, and I have learned about the power steering recall and the head gasket recall. This truck has not had any recall work done on it, but would toyota support it now that im the 3rd owner?

Has anyone else tried to get, or had recall work done being the 2nd, 3rd 4th etc owner?

just call up a toyota dealer and read them off the VIN # and they can tell you if it's been done or not. depending on how many miles you have and where you go, they'll still do it i believe. I've heard the cut-off is 100k, but have heard people getting it done with 150k on it too.

 

Yes, they do. No limits of miles, owners, etc for the head gasket for 90's to mid 95's.
