Rear wiper problem

Hey all,

I searched and did not turn anything up on this. I have a1997 4runner and have replaced the rear wiper blade with several different brands over the years.

The problem is: all of them fail to wipe the top of my window (the top of the arc of the blade). I've tried bending the arm and the bracket holding the actual blade, but still have the problem.

Anyone have any suggestions for this one? Not a huge deal, but annoying none the less.

Thanks for any help.

You might want to check other 97 models and see if they all have this problem. I know my brothers explorer did this, and we noticed a lot of other explorers had the same problem.

That makes sense. Anyone else have this problem? The strangest thing is that the original blade that was on the truck worked fine all the way across the arc. That's why I though maybe something was bent or out of wack so to speak.

Thanks though.
