Hi I can;t seem to get the door look button to go up or down electronicley or manualy John 95 4runner I just purchused it .

 

The Rear window has to be all the way down before you can unlock it. That is if it is the same setup as my 90. and it can't be electronicley controlled. Again if it did not change for 95. Somebody who knows for sure will post on this one.

 

are you talking about getting the window to roll up and down with the key in the back?

 

Just roll the back window all the way down and then Try it.

i was having this problem with my tailgate lately, probably due to the extreme cold weather, but i constructed a little bracket (on the inside) so that you can unlock and open the tailgate normally with an inch or so of window left. if you are still having this problem let me know and i can post some pics in the next few days. PM me just in case i dont see this thread if it gets moved down the line.
