Rear Spring Lifts

I've been looking into new rear springs for my 91 yota pickup. CUrretnly, i have my stock springs which are pretty much flat as a pancake, and 4" lift blocks! i want to get rid of those and get a 4" spring lift with extended shackles. I've been looking into a few companies. AOR, All Pro, and Downey. AOR offers custom springs, that are 5" longer than stock, giving more articulation and a better ride. Allpro offers springs 9" longer than stock! However, these are EXPENSIVE! AOR are about $600 for the springs! Downey offers springs at stock length with a max lift of 3". I was thinking of getting the downey 3" springs and extended shackles! They are cheap! - $140 for the 2 springs and $40 for the shackles. I know downey makes awesome stuff, but does anyone have any advice? The extent of my current 4x4 adventures are limited due to time. but i go out to the desert a lot to run around in the dirt and climb some hills. i know i wont be doing some outrageous rock climbing, but i do want good articulation and a nice street ride.

thanks !!

hey, joshik. i see you're new...just wanted to welcome you to the yotatech board. it's great, you'll learn a lot here. maybe some info you can use on one the of the many trips i'm sure you'll be making mt high this season.

anyway, i must admit, i really don't know too much about this topic. but from what i've gathered, downey springs seem to be perfect for toyotas and i don't think you can go wrong with those. but i'll let the experts tackle this issue now....

Check into what NorthWest Offroad has to offer. Bad part is they don't list everything on the website...and you have to pay to get a catalog from them. There's lots in there for older Toys though...

I have a catalog, so I'll try and check out what they have for you...
