So I finally figured out that the back rests of my rear seats do not come up and i only have to lift the bottom cushion to get to my jack. I spent the longest time trying to figure it out haha. Anyway, how do i get the bottom cushions to come up. when i pull, it makes a sound like it is somehow latched. is there some kind of lever or something???

there should be a small looped pull buried between the seat back and cushion. you have to stick your fingers in between the spot where the seat belts come up, you should be able to feel it. pull it up and the cushion should come with it.
