Rear leaf spring conversion Q

I have 97 4Runner interested in swapping leafs in the rear. My question is that can stock 63in chevys be swapped in the back of 3rd gens. I had them in the back of my first gen and liked em and there super cheap. I know i would have to weld on perches, set pinion angle and all that. Just seein if they fit or has been done on runners. thanks

I think it has been done on tacomas but they are leaf sprung from the factory so dont know if will work on 4Runners

i dont see why they woudlnt..... dimensionwise the vehicles are about the same... you would need to find shock mounts as well....
