Rear break line no fluid

I just replaced the rear driver side axle seal on a 02 Tacoma and also the brake line that goes from the wheel cylinder to a connector on the rear diff, its only 20inches long, After I put the line in I tried to bleed it but nothing came out, I opened the res, I pumped the brakes, I also drove around and still nothing. The brakes feel fine and the parking brake works. What could be the problem.

is the truck up in the air on a lift or jack stands? try bleeding it with the truck on the ground to keep the LSPV out of the equation.
