Rear axle seal - scratched axle housing - fixes?

That's about all you can do. Buy yourself some good sealant or gasket maker like "The Right Stuff" by Permatex, and coat the inside of the housing where the seal goes before putting the seal in. Hopefully, that will work out for you.
