Can someone with a shop manual provide me with the wire colors for the rear speakers on the stock stereo system? Where is the best place to get at them? I need to put in a lineout converter so I can run a small amp and sub.

Also, I realize that I haven't been on the site lately but has there been talk about the rear drive line binding that I intermittently feel when coming to a stop on my 03? Dealer says it's normal and I realize that it doesn't hurt anything but I would like to know the fix if someone has figured it out. I greased the rear drive shaft but it didn't help. Thanks.

I think that there is a color standard for stereo wires. If the wires are the same colors as listed above, then the connections are probably the same. I believe that Toyota changed the stereo harness in 1987, so it might be different for a 1985.

It says H is wire 1 and is a blue wire, and that I'm supposed to join this with wire 2 and connect them. What color is wire 2?
