Will a 89 v6 4runner radiator fit into a 90 with the same engine? Mine needs replacing and I am to cheap to fork out the dough for a new one. Thanks

 

one year diffrence i would think it would. try and see aint that hard

 

Just wondering cause when I called about a radiator from the dealer they asked about my manufacturing date?? I didn't have it at the time and didn't bother calling back cause it was to expensive anyways. But I seen someone on the net who is selling the rad from his 89 4runner and I doubt he has a return policy...haha...if someone knows and would let me know that would be great.

 

the 89 is a first gen while the 90 is a second, so it possible that the mounts may be slightly different, but i am only speculating

 

Try checking a site like eBay. Even if you do not buy one there, a lot of companies that sell on there specify which vehicles a part will fit. If a company is selling a radiator and the posting specifies something like "fits 84-95" then it will probably fit your 4runner. If nothing else, you could measure the mounts before you buy it.
