Hope this isn't a dumb question but, I was wondering if after being in the mud and stuff if it is recomended to wash all the mud off the underside suspension and drive shaft and stuff, and why. I can't see what it would hurt to have mud under there I am just paranoid so I figured I would ask.

I do! It doesn't help to have mud caked on to the underbody. It can mess with the lubricating parts.

 

Well not caked, I unsterstand that, but if its just splashed on and everything has a mud color to it, not like chunks stuck to it and stuff.

Nah, it should be fine then! It wouldn't hurt to clean it though.

 

Well, decided to hose it off today, got a lot of mud off the uderside lol. The only thing that is still kinda muddy is the engine, from splashes, should that concern me (not sure how I'd clean it anyway)?

you can use CD2 engine cleaner. heres the thread about it.
