Quick Lok vs. Lock Right....87 4Runner,4 banger,31" mudders

Good day from Oregon. Just thought I'd ask it again, as I'm sure it's been beaten like a dead horse. I'm getting ready to order up and just want some personal experiences with the two types of "rear" lockers I'm looking at. Any input will be appreciated!!

Lock-on,
Kirk

NPS,
I think Quick Lok is made by or for Genuine Gear?? At least that's what the mags show. I've also heard the the Quick Lok is exactly like the Detroit E-Z Locker but cannot confirm that. The guy at 4Wheel Parts says the Quick Lok is just like the Lock Right and in fact says you could use half the parts of each kit together and it would work?? I'm not sure I'm buying that but maybe someone else knows more about it. Bottom line is that this type of locker is in the $$$ range I'm wanting to spend and they seem to be selling all three name brands currently. Yes, I'm looking into self install.
Thanks,
Kirk

Talking

ok if it was me i would buy a lock right. if the quick lock is the detroit E-Z locker then i would be hesident. i have instaled 3 lock rights 2 front 1 rear and the rear is the only one that the friend is not happy with and he thinks that i screwed somthing up but i didnt, it is just the locker clicking in and out. i also put a E-Z locker in a samari and it didnt go in smothly and now it wont unlock there instructions state that it would fit the toyota 8", ford 9", and the samari there install instructions are even more vague than the lock rights. the lock right install is straight forward just make sure that you mark every thing realy well and line it all up when you put it back together. have fun with getin the ring gear off
