[Question] Front Stabilizer End Link Bushings
I just put on new OEM rubber bushings on the front stabalizer end links and was wondering how far to crank down the top nut? I don't have any service manuals, nor specs. I can only get the nut on a few cranks before the bushings start buldging out. Should I just crank it on good without worrying if the bushing isn't entirely under the end cap thingy?
Also, should the front stabilizer have any rotational play at all? Mine doesn't move a mm, but I figured it would of had some play in it.
Thanks,
Rob

They should be on snugly, not bulging. Recheck after 100 miles or so.
No, you should not be able to torque the bar by hand...but it does move under driving conditions obviously.
I have some install instructions here that might help you visualize as they are just like the OEM basically.

I just tighten until they start to compress, you don't want the bushings to bulge farther than the washers they sit on. I like them to bulge slightly less than the width of the washers...
