Question about 2.4 liter

Well I have developed quite a leak lately in my tacoma. It first appeared to be coming from the oil pan gasket but I replaced that and nothing has changed. Now it looks like it is coming from the aluminum oil filter adapter that bolts to the block. Is there a gasket between this and the block? Has anyone had this problem? It is leaking a drip every 5 minutes or so so it needs to be addressed. Thanks

Andy

The bolt that I took out is huge and it has holes in it like a banjo bolt. Does that mean it has to be oriented a certain way upon installation? Or should I just tighten it up?

Good call. It looks like that is where the leak was coming from but I'm putting it back together now so we will see.
